Reflection needs room to feel safe.

The Reset Within was designed to feel like writing in a private notebook, not filling out a form. This page explains, plainly, how the current version works.

Privacy

Privacy by design

Privacy is not a policy we added at the end. It shaped what this experience does—and, more importantly, what it does not do. We do not build features that would require us to know who you are.

Privacy

What this experience asks

A short set of reflective questions about your season of life, mental load, rest, energy, support and the time that feels realistic for you. Nothing more.

Privacy

What it does not ask

  • No email address.
  • No payment information.
  • No birth date, birth time or birth location.
  • No medical history, diagnoses or medications.
  • No account creation of any kind.
Privacy

How answers are handled

  • No account is required to use this experience.
  • Your answers remain temporarily in your browser's memory during your session.
  • The Reset Within does not intentionally store raw questionnaire answers in its database.
  • Refreshing the page, restarting, or leaving the session clears the in-memory answers.
  • We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
  • If you select AI-assisted generation, a minimized and sanitized version is sent to our server and OpenAI solely to create the report.
  • The AI request uses the Responses API with store: false.
  • OpenAI may retain API content in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under standard data controls unless special retention controls are approved.
  • Selecting the local version sends no answers to OpenAI.

We do not claim HIPAA compliance, medical certification, legal approval, or absolute security. This is an early prototype—handle it as such and avoid entering anything you would not want to hold in your own memory for a session.

General wellness boundaries

The Reset Within provides general wellness education and personal reflection. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

If something in your health or wellbeing feels persistent or concerning, please reach out to a qualified health professional.

Future services

Later versions may offer optional services—such as saving a report or receiving a personalized guide by email. If those arrive, they will be clearly opt-in, described in plain language, and separate from this free reflection.
